Engagement rings
Bespoke engagement rings. One stone. One question.
A bespoke engagement ring, built around a stone chosen for you, made properly and delivered discreetly, wherever you are in the world.

An engagement ring is usually the most considered piece of jewellery a person buys. Gem House treats it that way. Elloise sources the centre stone to your brief, designs the setting with you, takes the stone to a specialist manufacturer and inspects the finished ring before it is delivered. You approve every stage, and every fee and margin is in writing before you commit.
Three ways to begin
Begin with the stone
Begin with the design
Begin with a family stone
You know the shape and the feeling you want. The stone is found first, and the setting is designed around it.
You have a ring in mind. The design is drawn first, and a stone is found that suits it.
Reset an heirloom diamond or family gem in a new ring. It is assessed first, with an honest view of what will and won't suit it.
The process
-
Style, metal, proportions, finger size (or how to find it discreetly), timing and budget.
-
The brief and sourcing fees, the design fee, and the disclosed margins on the stone and on manufacture, all in writing.
-
A shortlist with reports, images and video. A deposit secures your choice.
-
Hand sketches first, then a CAD render to approve before anything is made.
-
Elloise takes the stone to the manufacturer by hand or by insured courier. The handover is photographed and signed for.
-
The finished ring is checked against the approved design and the stone's report, then photographed.
-
Insured, tracked and signed for, or handed over in person by appointment. An insurance valuation can be prepared at the same time.
Keeping the surprise
Packaging is plain, with no branding or description of the contents on the outside. Delivery can go to an office or any address you choose, at a time that suits you. Correspondence goes only to the contact details you nominate. Tell Elloise how the proposal is planned, and the delivery will be arranged around it.
